Global India Study Abroad Program
The College of Engineering is enrolling students who are ready to experience life and learning—India style—in the summer of 2011.
The program will host up to 15 students from the UA and other universities, along with a UA engineering professor, for the six week summer program.
Your adventure will begin with a week in northern India experiencing the magnificent Taj Mahal, riding elephants to the top of a remarkable fort and seeing incredible historic marvels. Next, you travel to Bangalore for the academic portion of the trip including field trips to multinational corporations such as Dell, HP, GE and Microsoft to experience globalization firsthand. Your final week will introduce you to southern Indian culture by visiting local fishing villages, sleeping on a houseboat and exploring tea plantations high in the mountains.
