Especially for Counselors

Do you know students interested in math in science? Suggest engineering. Our challenging engineering program will prepare students for a well-paying job directly after completing their undergraduate degree, or give them the tools and they need to be competitive for graduate school. An engineering background can lead to many different careers in the business and academic worlds, limited only by how far the student wants to go.

Preparation for Engineering

Entering students should have a strong background in math and science. We are especially looking for students who can combine problem solving with communication skills. Above all, the student should have a passion for making a difference in the world and a love of learning.

Pre-Medicine

Engineering is a great undergraduate major for those interested in Pre-Med! Biological Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the University of Arkansas have a 90% success rate of getting into Medical School -- the highest of any undergraduate major.
