Especially for Parents

The process of finding and choosing a university is not easy for a student, and in many ways it is equally difficult for a parent.  Financial issues, questions about your child's safety on and off campus, residence halls, and the college's conduciveness to learning are all sources of anxiety.  This stress, however, can be relieved through knowledge.  Ask questions, analyze answers, compare and contrast opportunities, and be involved.  You should feel free to call us, attend tours with your child, or write us emails.

The University of Arkansas College of Engineering gives its students unique opportunities to challenge themselves academically, grow professionally, and develop a lifelong passion for learning. Our curriculum will prepare your child for a career in the business world or lay the foundation they will need to succeed in graduate school.  Our facilities will allow them to work with the most advanced technology and our faculty and staff will provide them with a source of career advice and services to succeed in the classroom and the workplace. Located in the city of Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas lies in close proximity to some of the biggest companies in the world, yet still has the benefits and charm of a college town.

Please continue to browse the future undergraduate section of this website to get a feel for the opportunities that would be available to your child at the University of Arkansas, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
